The Nigeria police Command in Ogun State has taken a 43-year-old-year Pastor into its custody over repeated alleged defilement of 16-year-old teenage girl.
She told the police in her statement that she concealed his identity since the incident started in November 2022, after the suspect threatened to kill her if she reveal the secret affair to anyone.
But the lid blew open when her family in Giwa Agbado area of Ogun State repeatedly treated the victim for reoccurring infections.
This was after the survivor, exhibited frightful tendencies that made her parents suspicious that their daughter may have been involved in sexual intercourse, the Command’s spokesperson, SP. Omolola Odutola said in a statement.
The spokesperson revealed that the family in Giwa AGBADO in Ogun State reported a case of alleged defilement to the Agbado Divisional Police station.
According to SP. Odutola, “The parents persuaded their daughter who later confessed that one Pastor Clinton John ‘m’ aged 43 years old of Mega World Healing Ministry have been fiercely having unlawful carnal knowledge of her since November 2022”.
She also revealed in the statement that the 16-year-old girl alleged that “the Pastor threatened to kill her if she ever revealed the cagey affair to anyone”.
“The suspect on interrogation has confessed to the crime and admitted that time after time he had unlawful carnal knowledge of the 16 year old”, SP. Odutola said.
She also noted that the survivor have been issued with medical forms for treatment and examination”, while Pastor Oscar will be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department Eleweran for discreet investigation”.
