Abia families storm hospital for fatal crash victims

Family relatives of fatal Highway crash that occurred on Port Harcourt-Enugu Expressway, near Ohiya Mechanic Village in Umuahia have stormed the Federal Medical Centre, Umuahia, Abia State in search survivors and accident victims.

The ill-fated bus belonging to Ebonyi State Transport Corporation, according to reports, somersaulted multiple times—over four times—before coming to a halt, last Friday afternoon.

Sources said the bus driver, who was said to have suffered minor injuries, after dozing off in wheel, leading to the fatal accident.

Men of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) responded to a distress calls and swung into action to rescue the accident victims a f evacuated them to the hospital for urgent Medical attention.

TheNewspad reports that Health workers, including paramedics and others at the mortuary session, brave the odds in managing patients and crowd of sympathizers at the Accident and Emergency Ward of the hospital.
