Delta school teachers fight over 'students levies'

Netizens on social media have urged sanction against two teachers Ibru College, Agbarha-Otor, Delta State caught in a viral video fighting in the staff room of the school.

Members staff of the school made frantic phone calls to the school’s Management to break the fight on Wednesday in the video where a female member staff also intervened in the fight.

Some students of the watched the fight and made video clips from the fight, caused by disagreement over the sharing formula of students’ school levies.

The Delta State Ministry of Education has began disciplinary action against the school’s Management over the violent violent confrontation, which lasted for few minutes.

A dependable source said the school has vowed sanction against the teachers whose names are yet-to-be made public, while calling for dismissal of the teachers.

But some netizens lambasting the social media users for sharing the footages on their timeline, others are expressing apprehension that students could learn from the bad example.
