Suspected ‘Yahoo boy’ crushes policeman to death at checkpoint

A suspected internet fraudster also known as ‘Yahoo boy’, has reportedly crushed a mobile policeman to death in Edo State.

The tragedy occurred last Friday at a security checkpoint in Obey Community, Sapele Road Road, Ikpoba-Okha Local government Area of the State.

A source told TheNewspad Correspondent that the yet-to-be identified hit-and-run driver, mauled the victim with his car on the roadside and thereafter fled.

The source said victim was said to have died immediately as a result of the injury he sustained in the accident.

But, the spokesman of the Nigeria Police Command in Edo State, SP. Chidi Nwabuzor who declined comments on the incident, stated that he is yet-to-be briefed.

According to him, “I can’t be speaking on what I have not receive facts on”.
