Man pledges N2m gift for ex-Cop arrested on illegal ‘stop-and-search’

A Philanthropist, Ahmad Isa, has pledged the sum of N20 million to a retired police Inspector Linus Monday, caught on illegal ‘stop-and-search’ operation after his retirement in 2022.

The retiree trended last week on whiteshark_blog, an Instagram handle, posted about Linus arrest while showing the retired officer in a police uniform with Identity card number 6257, according to reports.

The Philanthropist and founder of Berekete Family Radio made the pledge barely one week after the report trended on social media.

Isa, appealed to privileged Nigerians with information about the retired officer to come forward for the financial assistance.
