Ighodalo pays tribute as Duke joins ancestors

Dr Asue Ighodalo, Candidate of the Official Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the September 21, 2024 Edo governorship election has paid tribute to Uholor village in Ovia North East Local government Area of the State, following the demise of the (Duke) Enogie, Mr Jackson Owie Igbinoghene.

Mr Igbinoghene, whose life and legacy meant so much to so many, joined his ancestors recently
after a brief illness.

In a touching tribute to the family of transited Duke on Thursday, Ighodalo prayed God and his ancestors to strengthen and support the Benin Royal and the people of Uholor.

Meanwhile, members of Igbinoghene family had informed the Oba of Benin Palace about the transition of the Patriarch.

They also notified concerned authorities of arrangement to begin his burial in line with Benin Customs and tradition.

Ighodalo wrote, “I, Dr. Asue Ighodalo, the Gubernatorial Candidate of the Official Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Nigeria pays condolences to Palace of Uholor Community on the demise of the Enogie, HRH Jackson Owie Igbinoghene”.

TheNewspad reports that Ighodalo’s visit to the family has started to elicit reactions by political dissents who likened his in an attempt by the umbrella party to square the circle, ahead of the forthcoming poll.
