Money ritual: Man arrested with fresh human organs in Lagos

Police operatives have arrested a 25-year-old suspected money ritualist, Samson Oghenebreme has been arrested with fresh human organs in Odomola Community, Epe, Lagos State.

The suspect was caught while allegedly transporting human organs from Edo State to a native doctor from money making rituals.

News Agency of Nigeria reports that the CSP Benjamin Hundeyin,
spokesman for the Nigeria Police Command disclosed this in statement on issued on Friday in Lagos State.

The suspected ritualist was intercepted by police operatives from the Odo-Noforija Division on April 25 in Epe area of the State.

Oghenebreme arrest followed credible information from members of the public about the suspect’s suspicious movements, according to the statement.

Hundeyin said preliminary investigations revealed the suspect was transporting the organs from Edo State to a native doctor for money-making rituals.

The statement said recovered organs have been deposited at the General Hospital, Epe, for preservation, while the case has been transferred to the Police command in Edo for further investigation and prosecution.

Olohundare Jimoh, the Commissioner of Police, commended the operatives and the vigilant Odomola Community and praised the swift police response and stressed the value of timely information sharing.

The police boss urged residents to stay alert and report any suspicious activity to the nearest police station.

He also assured the public of the command’s commitment to safety and the protection of lives and property across the State.
