Abia governor-elect Alex Otti plans transition Committee

The Abia State governor-elect, Alex Otti of Labour Party (LP) has received his Certificate of Return and his deputy governor elect, Kingsley Emetu from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

ALEX OTTI, ABIA STATE GOVERNOR-ELECT BRANDISHES HIS CERTIFICATE OF RETURN FROM INEC ON WEDNESDAY IN UMUAHIA, THE STATE CAPITAL.

The Certificates were presented by Festus Okoye who represented the National Chairman of INEC, Prof Mahmood Yakubu, in Umuahia the State Capital.

In a brief remark, the governor-elect, Alex said his administration will not be vindictive

He assured that his victory puts a huge responsibility on us”.

“I assure you that we shall not disappoint in the discharge of that responsibility.

“In the next few days, we shall set up our transition committee preparatory to our takeover of the affairs of our dear State, Abia”, he said.
