Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has berated Tonye Cole, the gubernatorial Candidate of the All Progressives Congress for reportedly deleting his social Media post on the victory of the president-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Saturday March 11, 2023 polls.

Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Tinubu who was the APC Candidate in the presidential election, after polling a total of 8,794,726 valid votes, ahead of his rival in Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, with 6,984,520 votes and the Labour Party, Candidate, Peter Obi who secured 6,101,533, alongside Rabiu Kwankwaso of New Nigerian Peoples Party that secured 1,496,687.

Wike drooped the hint at Okomoko Community Field during inaugurating the Chokocho-Igbodo Road in Etche Local Government Area.

“Look at the APC Candidate (Tonye Cole). He posted on social media, congratulating Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, but within one hour, he pulled it down. Is that a man? Is that character?”, Governor Wike queried.
