Police issue update on Katsina govt house fire

Police have directed inquiries into fire that occured at the red chamber of Katsina Government House to Governor Dikko Umar Radda aides.

Spokesman for the Nigeria Police Command in Katsina SP Gambo Isa said this during an interview with TheNewspad reporter.

He said, “direct your questions to either the Governor’s Special Adviser on Media or his Chief of staff”.

Governor Dikko Umaru Radda, according to o reports, was attending a zonal town hall meeting in Funtua when the fire outbreak occurred.

But, official in the government hinted that the affected has been condoned-off, while investigation into the incident has begun.

The unarmed official also note that unspecified number of security personnel who were on duty when the incident happened will be interrogated.
