Presidential Candidate of Labour party (LP), Peter Obi has declared that the task of winning election is a difficult one.

He also promised to handover the outcome of Saturday February 23 presidential polls to God.

Obi said this after casting his vote with his wife Margret at his Amatutu village ward 2 unit 019 at 11.40am in Anambra State.

He also denied stepping down for the presidential Candidate of Peoples Democratic party (PDP) in the election, Abukakar Atiku, assuring that he is ready to lead Nigeria if given the mandate.

“I am out to win. Everything that I have done in life is by the will of God. So, I am eternally grateful to almighty God.

“So, winning an election is not easy as you people (Nigerians) think. Winning an election is a burden because you are going to carry the peoples’ trust.

So, of God wants me carry that burden, I will accept it”, Obi said.

Obi thanked president and Muhammadu Buhari and the security agencies for providing an enabler for the conduct of the peaceful election irrespective of some challenges.

According to the Labour party. Candidate, “A new Nigeria possible, to pull the Country out of consumption to productive economy. I am an advocate of peace and believes so much in the unity of one Nigeria.
