A former member representing Ovia Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Lady Omosede Igbinedion, has declared support for Edo governorship in September 21 2024 election that will patronize indigenous Contractors in the State.
Omosede who made he known known on Sunday via social Media post sighted by theNewspad.com, stressed that a Candidate that stands for the betterment of our State and it’s people, remains her choice in the forthcoming poll.
The Peoples Democratic governorship in the 2024 governorship election said, “I will support a Governorship candidate that believes in equity, fairness and justice, one with true humility, that understands the plight of the people.
“A Candidate that believes that it is only God that can put him at Osadebe Osadebe Avenue.
“A Candidate who listens and does not think he knows it all. A candidate that is sincere at heart and does not see Edo as a business venture.
“A Candidate who knows Edo as his home and genuinely relates with his people.
“A Candidate who has respect for his fellow aspirants, a candidate who knows that women deserve a seat at the table.
“A Candidate that believes the youth should be carried along, not just as cheerleaders, but holding positions of authority”, She said.
The aspirant was initially speculated to be the running mate to the PDP governorship Candidate in the election, Mr Asue Ighodalo.
But, Mr Osarodion Ogie, the Secretary to the State Government, SSG was unveiled by the ruling party and INEC as Ighodalo’s running mate.
