Edo Amputee arrested for Illicit drug trafficking

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA has arrested 45-year-old Amputee in connection with illicit drug deal in Edo State.

The spokesman, Mr Babafemi Femi confirmed this in a statement on Sunday.

He alleged that Zekere Sufianu, was arrested last week Wednesday in Auchi, Etsako West Local Government Area of the State.

The statement said 751 grams of Loud, 178 grams of tramadol and pills of swinol, were recovered from the suspect during the raid.

In Cross River State, NDLEA officer arrested a drug suspect, Ogar Emmanuel.

The suspect was arrested with 2.5kg of cannabis at Ukpada Utugwan village where 29 sacks of the same substance weighing 290kg were recovered from the warehouse.

The warehouse belongs to another suspect, Usani Ikpi, who is currently at large, the statement said.

Three suspects: Sa’adu Sule, 23; Mukhtar Nura, 23; and Hamza Nura, 18, were nabbed at Jabiri Funtua, Katsina State.

He was arrested on Friday 24th May by NDLEA agents with 129 blocks of cannabis weighing 70kg coming from Ogere, Ogun State.

No fewer than five suspects including: Ezekiel Munda, 30; and Sule Mustapha, 21, were arrested by NDLEA operatives on Thursday 23rd May during raids

In another operation at Karu Abattoir, Jikwoyi and Tora Bora hill area of FCT, Abuja, NDLEA also arrested five suspects including: Ezekiel Munda, 30; and Sule Mustapha, 21.

The suspects were nabbed on Thursday 23rd May, while 95.01kg of cannabis and different quantities of opioids were recovered from them by the anti narcotic-agency.
