Police recover 28 corpses in terror attack on Benue community

The Nigeria police Command in Benue State has confirmed 28 deaths in a renewed terror attack by suspected herders in the State.

It happened when armed group invaded in Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp at LGEA Primary School Mgban, in Nyiev Council Ward of Guma Local Government Area of the State on Friday night.

The Command’s spokesperson, SP. Catherine Anene confirmed the incident in a terse statement on Saturday.

The police spokesperson said, “28 corpses recovered and deposited at the hospital morgue. While investigation is ongoing”.
