Ize-Iyamu: Why fellow contenders’ re scared of my senatorial ambition

Date:

Edo South Senatorial aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, has declared that his fellow contenders are scared of his political aspiration, by peddling false narratives that he has formally withdrawn from the election.

He attributed the development to the support and widespread acceptability by delegates across the seven Local Government Areas that make up the Senatorial District, ahead of the National Assembly primary election of the party.

Ize-Iyamu disclosed this while addressing supporters and party faithful on Wednesday in the Senatorial District where he emphasized that his Senatorial ambition is divine and peoples-driven.

According to him, “The letter I wrote when I withdrew from the 2024 Governorship race for Governor Monday Okpebholo, is now what they concocted, and started circulating on social media space.

“I have received several calls as a result of that. When they ask you, tell them I have not resigned. I am still in the race. Don’t you see that my fellow contestants are already scared.

“I have not started campaigning, and they are already scared.

Tell those lying that I have stepped down that I am still in the race”, Ize-Iyamu stated.
