Gov’s aide slammed for tossing snake in govt house

 

Workers in Kebbi State Government House, Birnin Kebbi fled in horror recently when Kebbi State governor, Nasir Idris, aide, Kabir Sani Giant reportedly tossed a venomous snake that caused scare during a public event.

It was learnt that workers got a fright of their lives when the curled snake which had its head poking over on Giant arms into Government House.

The Governor’s aide believed to be a snake lover has been suspended by the State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress.

The State Working Committee of the ruling party in the State, conveyed Giant suspension in a statement after reviewing the incident.

The statement was signed by the party’s State Secretary, Sa’idu Muhammad Kimba, on behalf of the State Chairman, Muhammad Abubakar Kana Zuru.

The party accused the suspended Governor’s aide of causing intimidation among dignitaries and officials.

It stated that the act was deemed offensive, embarrassing, and a violation of Article 21 (2)(ii) of the APC’s Constitution.

Any further misconduct during his suspension, may result in stricter disciplinary action, according to the party.
