A call for authentic change in Edo

From Hadiza Ibrahim

The recent decision by the students of AAU Ekpoma to boycott the meeting with the PDP Candidate Asuen Ighodalo is a powerful statement of their deep-seated disappointment after enduring years of unfulfilled promises and disillusionment.

This sentiment is shared by both students and staff alike, who have grown weary of empty words and hollow commitments.

The resounding message from the students is crystal clear: no more deception, no more empty rhetoric, and no more false hopes.

They are demanding a new era of leadership, one that resonates with their dreams and aspirations. It is time for a Candidate who they can truly relate to, someone that understands their struggles and is genuinely committed to their welfare.

The overwhelming hunger for change among the youth is undeniable. It is a call for a fresh start, a call for a new Edo that we must all unite to create by electing the right candidate.

The students are not just seeking a leader; they are seeking a partner in progress, someone who will stand with them in their journey towards a brighter future.

Let’s heed the voices of the youth, let’s embrace their vision for a better tomorrow. Together, let’s make authentic change a reality in Edo State. Vote for a Candidate who embodies hope, integrity, and a genuine commitment to the people. Together, we can build a brighter future for all.
