Why Christian genocide persists in Nigeria ― Enenche

Date:

The senior Pastor at Dunamis International Gospel Centre in Abuja, Paul Enenche, has advanced reasons why Nigerian government cannot deny the existence of Christian genocide despite reportedly engaging international lobbyists for image laundering.

The fierce Benue-born cleric who spoke while addressing members of his congregation, however advised the government stop lobbying to deny Christian genocide and address security concerns in the nation during uncertain times.

He lamented that recent brutal killings in some parts of Kaduna and Plateau States, point to the uncontroverted stunning evidences, while demanding arrest and prosecution of culprits behind killings and end to the deadly attacks in Nigeria.

The cleric also demanded accountability from leaders and Godly followers whom he charged on patriotism, noting that the menace of Nigeria’s insecurity problem, which did not begin during President Bola Tinubu’s tenure in office, discourages investors and hinder the progress of the nation.

Enenche asked in a viral video, “Is it not people they are killing? I came here with a heavy heart because of the things that happened since the past one week. A place called Kahir village, Kagarko Local Government Area of Kaduna State, killing 13 people and abducting several others”.

“It happened last Sunday (Palm Sunday) at 11: 30 o’ clock at night when gunmen”, according to the cleric, “another attack also occurred last Sunday in Anguwan Rukuba Community in the Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State.

“At about 8p.m when gunmen invaded the area and killed 28 people. But a Christian leader I spoke to said over 40 people were killed in the attack”.

He stated that: “I have only six questions to ask. Is it not better and easier to deploy all the necessary resources to ensure that the killing of Christians stop in the nation than to stay, dissipating energy, time and resources? What a waste of effort.

“When will lack of value for human lives end in this Country? When will both leaders and followers of this nation value human lives?

“I, watched a video recently, four or five people were killing a young boy at the University of Jos, gate. Car, trucks, Keke Napep drivers, were passing bye. And some people stood and watched while somebody was being killed. They left him to die. They (governments) are fighting petty things on social media. People desire the type of leaders that they get.

“When will valueless and worthless killers in the name of religion be instantly apprehended and rapidly prosecuted? If they need to set special courts to try offenders of the law.
It’s time for us to say enough is enough”, according to Enenche.
