The federal government has approved the appointment of Engineer Mr Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama as the Executive Director (Strategy & Commercial) in the Management team of Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC) headed by the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Ms Jennifer Adighije.
Ogbeide-Ihama, represented Oredo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives between 2015-2023 on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party where he also contested for Edo State 2024 governorship election and stepped down shortly before the primaries in Benin City.
The Presidential spokesman, Mr Ajuri Ngelale who confirmed this late Monday in a statement, said the President approved the appointment of Engineer Abdullahi Kassim as Executive Director (Generation), while Engineer Bello Babayo Bello, was named the Executive Director (Networks) of the team.
In the same vein, Mr. Emmanuel Umeoji, was appointed as the Executive Director (Corporate Services). alongside Mr. Omololu Agoro who is the Executive Director (Finance & Accounts), while Barrister Steven Andzenge was made the Executive Director (Legal Services) of NDPHC.
The statement said new NDPHC Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Jennifer Adighije, is an experienced engineer with vast competencies across management functions in the private and public sectors.
She holds a master’s degree in Wireless Networks & Telecommunications from Queen Mary University of London, UK, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from the University of Lagos, Nigeria.
President Tinubu, according to he statement, expects the new members of the management of the company to deploy their expertise and experience to drive NDPHC’s mandate of effectively managing the National Integrated Power Projects (NIPP).
