The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency says it set 4.654474 hectares of cannabis sativa farm ablaze and arrested on of the farmers in North East Local Government Area of Edo State last week.
NDLEA spokesman, Femi Babafemi said in a statement that the psychoactive substance weighing 11, 636.185kg across three farms at Iguiye Forest in the area.
He said additional 188kg of the same psychoactive substance was recovered while a suspect, Itah Nyong was arrested during the overnight operation.
