Gov Oborevwori confirms religious tour for spiritual power in Ogun

The governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori is set to embark on a religious tour to the international headquarters of Living Faith Church at Canaanland, Ogun State in search of spiritual power.

Oborevwori said this during Sunday Thanksgiving at Living Faith Church, a.k.a Winners’ Chapel Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of the State, where he assured electorate that he will be a servant-leader.

Addressing worshippers in the Church, governor Oborevwori recalled how he visited the Bishop of Living Faith, Bishop David Oyedepo and his wife, Faith at Canaanland after he received his Certificate of Return from the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to appreciate the Cleric for their support and prayers.

This was after declaration as winner of the 2023 governorship election in Delta State by the Commission, the Governor said.

Oborevwori, the Candidate of Peoples Democratic party (PDP) in the election also said, “I thank you (Pastor Triumphant Obamoh) for all you have done for us. This is happening during your time and we are proud of you. Papa (Bishop David Oyedepo) is happy with us in this state.

“When I received my Certificate of return I went to Canaanland and Papa and Mama prayed for me and my dear wife. I will go back there to receive the unction to perform”, he said.

The Governor while solicitor for prayers of the Church i n order to fulfill his mandate, said, “Am happy to be here today in your midst. This is your own and having been sworn in as the 5th Governor of Deta State, I said must come here to worship with you.

“I thank you (Pastor Triumphant Obamoh) for all you have done for us. This is happening during your time and we are proud of you. Papa (Bishop David Oyedepo) is happy with us in this State.

Earlier in his sermon titled, “Understanding the Blessedness of a Revival”, the Resident Pastor of the Church, Water Resources, assured that Delta State would rise again as great things would begin to happen, adding that “God’s presence is the only thing that can sustain a man and decorate him”.

He revealed that “Revival is a platform for divine visitation as it makes a man to seek after God and the interest of His kingdom as well as walk in the fear of God”.

TheNewspad reports that the Delta State Governor was accompanied by his family, political associates, friends and well-wishers at the Church Thanksgiving after his swearing-in as the 5th Governor of the State on May 29, 2023.
