Fubara invites Wike’s allies for talks, sets agenda

Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has presented 4-point agenda for deliberation at the proposed meeting with Martin Amaewhule-led faction of the State House of Assembly members in Rivers State Government House, Port Harcourt.

Fubara invited Wike’s ally and Speaker of Rivers State House of Assembly, Martin Amaewhule and other Assembly members to a meeting at 10.am on Monday 10th of March.

According to a statement by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr Tammy Wenike Danagogo, said the Governor is expected to discuss the following:

1. Provision of a befitting space for the Assembly’s sittings;

2. Payment of all outstanding remuneration or allowances of the Honourable members;

3. Presentation of Budget and sundry matters;

4. Any other matter(s), as may be necessary, to chart the way forward in the best interest of the State.
