Enugu Muslim faithful celebrate Eid-el Fitr in Igbo Language

Muslim Community in  Nsukka Council Area of Enugu State have Introduced a new dimension in this  year’s Edel Filtri prayer, which was celebrated in Igbo language.

CROSS SESSION OF MUSLIM FAITHFUL AT A PRYAYER GROUND DURING EID PRAYERS IN ENUGU/ISLAM SYMBOL.

During last Friday’s message, the lmam of Nsukka Central Mosque, Alhaji Usuman yahaya Audu thanked Allah for his kindness, sustained love and peace in Nigeria.

The Cleric cautioned Nigerians on the need to adhere strictly to Islamic teaching as prescribed in Qur’an.

He prayed Allah for keeping them alive and in peaceful coexistence with their host Community and sustainable peace in Enugu State.

“We are one and prophet Muhammad and Christ preached peace,love and forgiveness , pointing out that there is no need for  uneccessary  hatred, Religious induced crisis and killings”.

“He challenged Muslim faithfuls to lead by example,and always show love to one another according to the dictate of prophet Muhammad”.

“We must continue to pray for peace, unity,of one Nigeria and as Muslim we must learn how to live in peace, with our host community.”

“We have also enjoyed uninterrupted peaceful environment and patronage from the Enugu State government and Nsukka Local government”, he said.
