EFCC docks man for alleged N9m Investment scam in Ibadan

Odeleye Moses Oluwabukola has been arranged on a three count charge before an Oyo State High Court, Ibadan, the State Capital.

He was docked on Monday, March 6, 2023for alleged forgery, uttering of document and obtaining money be false pretence to the tune of N9 million (Nine Million Naira).

The charges were preferred against the defendant by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibadan Zonal Command.

The defendant, according to EFCC investigation approached his victim, Ololade Desmond-Eke with a forged “Local Purchase Order”.

The defendant thereafter asked for a loan of N9 million, with an agreed interest of N495, 000.00 (Four Hundred and Ninety-five Thousand Naira), under the pretext of executing some contracts awarded to his company across the Country.

But, the victim discovered, after advancing the money to the defendant, that the document was forged.
