Pandemonium broke out when a yet-to-be identified illicit drug abuser stripped himself naked and jumped into ‘God Is Good’ Motor Park on Uselu Lagos Road in Egor Local government Area of Edo State on Saturday evening, after inhaling a mixture of Colorado, Loud substances.
The strange behaviour of the alleged drug user who threw caution to the wind, sent jitters down the spines of commuters and pedestrians who were both caught in the melee.
It was learnt that the private security guards attached to the motor park, bundled the middle-aged man and tied and bundled him out of the company’s terminal at about 6:30p.m.
TheNewspad reports that bemused residents of Uselu and bystanders, descended on the alleged drug user with canes and blows, amid fears of likely jungle justice.
The.survivor later regained consciousness after having unsolicited bath with water on walk way in front of the park.
Edaiken market traders who were dazed by the drama, abandoned their wares to catch a glimpse of the scene, while traffic on Uselu Lagos Road Express Road and adjourning roads convulsed for over 45 minutes, before sanity was restored.
One of security guards told our Correspondent that the light skin man, confessed to them that he inhaled Loud and Colorado otherwise known as Colorado drug at undisclosed location, which three him out of balance.
“He is not our customer. He ran into our park naked and everybody stated running helter skelter. We caught him and brought him out after we discovered that he was behaving abnormally.
“You could see the way he regained himself and started laughing like a fool. He told us that he took Loud and Colorado”, he said.
Our Correspondent could not immediately verify if the suspected drug user escaped from at the Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital, Uselu, which is less four kilometres from the motor park.
As at the time of filing this report, the whereabouts of the suspected drug user, who was said to have manifested symptoms of insanity, is unknown.
