Atiku: Hold your heads high despite Super Falcons 4-2 loss to England

Former Vice President of Nigeria, Abubakar Atiku has charged Nigeria heartbroken Super Falcons players to hold their heads high despite their lost to the Lioness of England via a penalty shootout.

England adcanced to the quarterfinals final after Nigeria crashed out of the the FIFA Women’s World Cup in a rib cringing encounter with the African Champion on Monday.

The match went into extra time which also ended in stalemate after both sides to hit the back of the net inside 90 minutes of play in Australia.

Reacting to the defeat, Atiku Abubakar in a post on social Media, said, “We may have lost to England in a penalty shootout, but the Super Falcons have every reason to hold their heads high. I still have no regrets about skipping my breakfast for this game. #ENGNGR #FIFAWWC -AA”.
