APC NWC confirms Adamu, Omisore’s resignations

Senator Abubakar Kyari, the acting National Chairman of the party, has confirmed the resignation of the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Senator Abdullahi Adamu along with the National Secretary, Senator Iyiola Omisore.

Kyari on behalf of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) said he takes over as acting chairman while Festus Fuanter, Deputy National Secretary, Barrister takes over as acting Secretary.

The Nation said NWC also announced the postponement of the National Caucus and National Executive Committee (NEC) meetings slated for Tuesday and Wednesday.

The National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka and the National Women Leader, attended the meeting while Dr Betta Edu was absent on Apology and 15 others attended the meeting.
