Police officer succumbs to ‘hard drugs’ in Ekiti

Bemused residents of Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State Capital have been gripped with fear after uniform police officer reportedly succumbed to suspected hard drugs.

 

Bystanders watched with shock as the yet to be identified and unconscious officer, reel in pains on the red soil in a viral video circulating on social media.

 

The officer was rolling on the floor at some time, and holding his head in the video in front of a smoking joint made of ‘wooden shelter’.

 

It could not immediately ascertained if the officer was bearing arm before he plunged himself on the dilemma, which many believe, could lead to his dismissal from the Nigeria police Force.

 

Some netizens have predicted that the officer may be demoted or dismissed if he is eventually identified and made to undergo the necessary police disciplinary Committee.

 

Seth Collins wrote on Facebook: “What if he had a gun”, while Collins Ide said, “Battle is going on in his mind. Stand up and go but the body is not responding to brain signal and the maga is shouting ha out if frustration and betrayal by his body”.

 

According to Zubby Chris Eze, “Is today his birthday Abi he dey under anointing”, while Cherechi Amaechi expressed shock, saying, “Imagine the character that bears riffle for protection of lives and properties”.

 

The Newspad reports that a statement regarding the development by the Nigeria police High Command, is being awaiteid.
