President Bola Tinubu has assigned the ministerial nominee from Edo State, Abubakar Momoh to the Ministry of Youth as an elixir instead of putting a sustainable balance of a generational framework for vibrant youths.

62-year-old Engineer and former House of Representatives member representing Etsako federal Constituency in the State, was among the 45 ministers that were recently screened by the Nigerian Senate and assigned portfolios on Wednesday by the President.

Some analysts who consider the decision to assign Momoh unlike his counterpart, minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Betta Edu from Cross River State, who was born on 27 October 1986, to the Ministry of Youth, as a dysfunctional mismatch and major minus from the angle of the optics in his 46-bogus cabinet of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) government.

Others have argued that
the Minister who studied Chemical Engineer in the University of Benin (UNIBEN), has the competence to deliver the good for the greater number of Nigerians, hence performance index is not measured by a counterfeited mindset.

Shortly after his nomination as a minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and his screening by the Upper legislative chamber, Mr Momoh who hails from Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State, led his family members and close political associates to thank Senator Adams Oshiomhole, representing Edo North Senatorial District in his residence at Oyamho in the same Council Area.
