Angry flood has reportedly swept a yet-to-be identified male resident of Agbor, Ika South Local Government Area in Delta State to his death after a heavy downpour on Wednesday afternoon.
The emotional moment, was captured in a viral video, amid heightened tension as locals, bemoaned the tragedy while calling attention of relevant authorities to the shocking incident.
The victim seen beside a stationed motorcycle and a motley of crowd, was feared dead before he could access help by concerned individuals who pulled the victim from erosion at about 100 metres distance, watched helplessly.
The development prompted a middle-aged woman who commented on the footage, said the incident happened in front of her shop at Igbuzor, weeping: “Jesus, Jesus, a full blown man has just been
carried by flood. They have recovered his body, but he is dead”.
