Two UTME Candidates feared killed in road crash

 

 

The dream of two Candidates in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to acquire tertiary Education was aborted in a fatal road accident on the Oyo-Ogbomoso road in Oyo State.

On Saturday’s accident, which left six persons injured, reportedly occurred when the commercial vehicle conveying the students to Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board centre at Ogbomoso had a brake failure.

Neither JAMB nor Federal Road Safety Corps nor the Nigeria Police authority in Oyo State has yet-to-react to the reported incident.

But, a footage of the wreaked vehicle that was shared in the internet on Saturday by a
witness did not provide the particulars of the ill-fated vehicle and names of the victims.

The witness said, “A fatal accident claimed the life of the students that were going to write JAMB in Ogbomoso on Oyo road, Oyo State”.
