Thug caught with arms after campaign in Edo

Brave youths have arrested a political thug with two fire arms after rally by one of the major political parties contesting the September 21 Edo State Governorship election.

The suspect who identified himself as Daniel Agogo from Idun-Ehijie, Ebhoyi, Uromi, Esan North East Local Government Area of the State in a viral video with background voices of youths interrogating him beside his red branded face cap and cut-to-size pistols.

Agogo who who claimed to have been mobilized by a top Council official in the locality to protect him at the campaign ground and was paid N9000 after rendering the service along with other armed thugs who are now at large.

The dark skin dreadlock-wearing suspect alleged that one of the guns that were found in his possession belongs to one of his friends he identified as Kingsley, who asked him to buy him food on the fateful day after the rally.

Asked why he did not return his firearm to the lender, Agogo, said he stop over at a popular Central brothel and slept with a prostitute, he gave part of the N9000 share to after the sex rump.

Agogo who claimed to be one of the intended recruit into the Council’s Taskforce in charge of Haulage Service, also alleged that two pump action and two cut-to-size guns were were assigned to them for the mission, which turned out to be a bad day for him.

“These guns are two. Kelly gave them to us to back him up at a political party rally. Kelly is the Local Government Chairman.

“He gave us the guns in the afternoon to guard him. The rally was held in the evening.

“After the rally, I went to fuck ashawo (prostitute). The rally ended at 4p.m on that day. We went with Aluwe to share money and N9000 for to me. I spent part of it to fuck ashawo.

“Bullets were supplied by Local Government boys who they are shortlisting to take charge of Tankers and other heavy duty vehicles in Highway”, Agogo said.

TheNewspad reports that the crime suspect has been handover to security agents in Uromi for further interrogation and prosecution.
