Royalty as Oba of Benin daughter wins spelling Bee contest

Princess Amenaghawon Ewuare, Oba Ewuare II, has emerged the overall winner of Cags Children’s Academy spelling Bee contest in Benin City, Edo State.

PRINCESS AMENAGHAWON EWUARE II RECIPIENT OF THE 2023 SPELLING BEE OF CAGS CHILDREN’S ACADEMY BY BY THE PROPRIETRESS OF UNIVERSITY PREPARATORY SECONDARY SCHOOL, MRS JULIET UREVBU SUPPORTED BY TWO BENIN PALACE CHIEFS AND HER FEMALE GUARDIAN ANGEL N THE SCHOOL

Princess Amenaghawon, the Grade 4 Gallium (pupil), was crowned the overall winner in Cags Children’s Academy, which is a subsidiary of University Preparatory Secondary School’s contest.

This was after she defeated two other winners from three other arms at the final stage of the competition.

Mrs Juliet Urevbu, the Proprietress of UPSS, who was joined by Benin two Palace Chiefs who presented medals to Princess Amenaghawon, amid cheers.
