Operatives of the Nigeria police have arrested a armed robbery suspect and kidnapper, Olaseinde Ojo ‘m’ at Post Office, Isokoko Area in Lagos State.
Force Public Relations officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi said in a statement that the suspect who disguises as a lunatic to get close to his hostages and rob or kidnap them.
The Force spokesman police on patrol on Dolphin Bridge axis in Lagos State, intercepted a dispatch rider and arrested suspect.
ACP Olumuyiwa identified as Samson Shina ‘m’, who was in possession of a locally made pistol and some charms.
The statement said operatives of the FCT Command, accosted a motorcycle carrying 3 passengers one Usman Musa ‘m’ and 2 others during stop-and-search operation by police.
The statement said the suspect was found in their possession a locally fabricated Beretta pistol with 11 rounds of live ammunition.
Search conducted in their premises also led to recovery of $5,800 fake dollar notes and other incriminating items, police said.
