Request for UK visa facilitation centre in Enugu excites residents

Residents of Enugu State have welcome the request by the State government’s for the restoration of United Kingdom visa facilitation centre in the State.

The Enugu State governor, Mr Peter Mbah the British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Dr. Richard Montgomery on Tuesday evening in the Coal City.

Announcing the development on his Facebook post on Tuesday night, the Governor said, “I had the pleasure of receiving the British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Dr. Richard Montgomery. We had a great time interacting on better ways to partner and to ensure the growth of our dear state’s economy.

“I seized the moment to emphasize the need for technical assistance and support, and also called for the restoration of the UK visa facilitation centre in Enugu State, to boost trade, business, and other relationships between the UK and our State”, he said.
