Police parade three suspects for ritual murder in Benue

The Nigeria Police Command in Benue State has paraded three suspects for the murder of 29-year-old man, Babatunde Moses and harvested his organs in Otukpo Council area of the State.

His corpse was recovered on May 20th 2023 at about 13: 45 hours by Otukpo Police Division operatives who received information that an unknown corpse was seen at Edikwu river bank in Benue with internal organs removed.

Briefing newsmen on Monday, the State Commissioner of Police, CP. Okoro Alawari Julius said, a team of detectives were deployed to the area for investigation and arrested the suspects for ritual murder.

CP Okoro who gave names of the alleged culprits as Idoko Omoru, Eze Emmanuel, Obande Emmanuel, Ameh Peter, alleged that Babatunde’s corpse was recovered by detectives at Edikwu river bank with internal organs removed.

The CP solicited for partnership with residents of the State and pledged the commitment in securing lives and property of residents of the State.
