Controversial lawyer, Malcolm Omirhobo has expressed grief over the N120 billion loan that was recently passed by Delta State State House of Assembly for governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, ahead of the February 25, presidential poll.

Okowa, Vice Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), had sought the approval of Delta State House of Assembly for completion of ongoing projects in the State, ahead of his handing over of reign of power on May 29, 2023.

Reacting to the development in a Facebook post on Saturday, the Delta-born human Rights activist, lamented the conspiracy of silence by Deltans over the loan which he claim is meant to fund the campaign of Abubakar Atiku, 2023 Presidential Candidate of PDP.

He wrote: First, James Ibori the former governor of Delta State funded Umaru Musa Yar’Adua presidential campaign with the Delta State common wealth, now Ifeanyi Okowa is borrowing money in the name of Delta State to fund Atiku Abubakar presidential campaign and Deltans are keeping sealed lips”.
