Insecurity: ‘Every day for thief…’— Uzodimma roars at critics

 

 

Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, South East Nigeria, has hit back at his critics on social media, ahead of November 11, 2023 governorship election in the State.

He fired the salvo while commissioning 20-bed Michael Uzodimma Memorial General Hospital, Omuma in Oru East Local Government Area of the State on Thursday October 5th 2023.

Lamenting what he termed as propaganda by political dissent on social Media apparently to stop his re-election, the Governor said, “Every day for thief, one day for the owner”.

The Governor and Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the election whose remarks have elicited responses by Nigerians in social media Community, insisted that Imo State is safe.

He also noted that his administration will continue implement projects that will have direct impact on the residents.

Uzodimma, also handed over the Management of the Hospital, which was named after the late father to the Catholic Diocese of Orlu Council Area.

The reconstructed healthcare facility, which has different Departments, is expected to various ailments for the overall wellbeing of residents.
