Hospital: We’re managing suspect ran over by police vehicle

The Management of Irrua Specialist Hospital (ISTH), has said that the handcuffed suspect, Success Ehimare who was crushed by a team of policemen in a vehicle last week during his arrest at Ekpoma in Esan West Local government Area of Edo State, is alive.

Recall that sevens arrested police officers appeared before the acting Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olukayode Egbetokun on Monday July 3rd 2023 in Abuja for disciplinary trial after the viral grisly video hit in interment last week.

In a phone interview with TheNewspad, the Public Relations officer of Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital (ISTH) in Edo State, Mr Ernest Obue , said management of the hospital is managing the victim who was brought into the facility after the incident.

The patient is recuperating, assuring that “the hospital’s Management is doing its best to ensure that the situation is brought to normalcy. He (Ehimare) will be okay”, Ohue said.
