Hardship: Sanwo-Olu plans1500 free daily meals for Lagosians

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has proposed free daily meals for 1500 residents of Lagos State.

The move is seen as part of efforts to reduce hunger and economic hardship among vulnerable Nigerians living in the State.

Sanwo-Olu said this while addressing Lagosians during a panel discussion, monitored by TheNewspad

He outlined the State government interventions, in road infrastructure, Health, Transportation and Agriculture.

He said his government made arrangement to set up 42 weekly Sunday markets where foodstuffs would be sold to vulnerable Nigerians at highly reduced prices.

He stated that the government will soon take delivery of 100 bags of 50 kilograms bags of rice, which would be packaged into ‘Combo bags sizes will be shared by 300,000 households in the State.
