Groom loses car to gunmen after wedding in Edo

Gunmen have reportedly snatched a Toyota Corolla car from the owner in Egor Local government Area of the State, raising security concern amongst his family and loved ones.

The light skin groom who got married on Saturday, stated that he on his way to see one of his friends when the incident occurred on Television road in Oredo Local Government Area of Edo State.

The unmasked armed men trailed and jumped into the vehicle after blocking the owner who was on the wheel the incident occurred on Sunday afternoon.

The Benin-based businessman whose wife was not with him during the incident, said the gunmen were aggressive towards him, but did not shoot him.

TheNewspad reports that the incident has been reported to the Nigeria Police Command with a view to recover the missing gold colour car along with the vehicle particulars.
