Four suspected kidnappers linked to Benue fatal abduction nabbed

The Nigeria Police Command in Benue State has confirmed the arrest of four suspects linked to fatal abduction in some parts of the State, including July 21st 2023 attack on residents of Akpuna Community in Ukum Local Government Area of the State.

The Command’s spokesperson, SP. Catherine Anene identified the suspects as, Ordoonku Sunday Kusuv, Msughter Nyieyem, Terkaa Tayough and Liambee Adeadegh also known as Don-Konyo.

She alleged that quartet was trailed and raided by officers of the Operation Zenda Joint Task Force to rid Sankera axis of the State of bandits some of whom are members of a viscous syndicate led by one Anyogor Mnguor and Terhemen Mzaga also known as ‘Fullfire’.

“This gang members specialise in kidnapping, attacking and killing members of the public. The most recent is the gruesome murder of innocent people at Akpuna Community on 21/7/2023 in Ukum LGA”, SP. Anene also alleged that Mr Sonter Felix Tyozughul was also arrested in connection with the kidnap of Dr. Asema Msuega.

The Resident doctor at General Hospital, Ukum who abducted by the hoodlums on 23rd July 2023, had been released. SP. Anene said the suspect confessed to have been actively involved in the crime, while Nine (9) rounds of 7.62x39mm live ammunition were recovered from them by the police.
