Edo High Court judge’s father, Okeaya-Inneh is dead

A prominent SAN, Chief Kola Okeaya-Inneh, Edo High Court judge’s father is dead.

A family member of Okeaya-Inneh hinted that the renowned scholar and learned Silk in the South-South region of Nigeria, died at the weekend after a brief illness.

Justice Joy Oghogho Okeaya-Inneh of Edo State Court, is among the Okeaya-Inneh’s Children who are well placed in society.

Okeaya-Inneh, was also a key ally to prominent Nigerians and mentor to several members of the Bench and the Bar.

The departed senior member of NBA, trained many lawyers in his lifetime, including the Chairman of the Benin Bar, Chief Nosa Francis Edo-Osagie.

Others are the Solicitor-General of Edo State, Prof. Faith Osamagioghowenwi Osadolor, Ph.D., Dele Abina, Esq (Former Chairman of the Benin Bar), Land law guru, Chief A. B. Thomas, amongst others.

In his goodwill message to mark his his 80th Birthday few years ago, Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State, described Okeaya-Inneh as a pillar of support to the Legal Profession in Nigeria.
