Christmas tragedy: Two suspected cultists shot dead in Edo

Tragedy struck when two suspected cultists were shot dead Christmas Day around Murtala Muhammed Are in Ikpoba-Okha Local government Area of Edo State.

Circumstances that led to the vengeful acts, which led to their tragic incidents, are still sketchy as at the time of filing this report.

Spokesman for the Nigeria Police Command in the State, SP. Chidi Nwabuzor confirmed the incident on Monday in a phone interview.

“The police confirm that. Yes, it happened. But, I must tell you that I don’t have details yet.

“The Command is confirming it. More details will come later”, Nwabuzor said.

He revealed that police would release a press statement concerning crimes that occurred during the Yuletide in Edo State.
