The Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo has sacked the Managing director of New Edo Line Transport Services Limited, Ms Tinyan Otuomagie with immediate effect.
The Commissioner, Ministry of Transportation, Uwuilekhue Saturday Idehen Otuomagie’s disclosed this on Thursday in statement.
In her stead, the Governor has appointed Smart Aigbodion – the General Manager, Maintenance of the Company as the Action Managing Director of the Company and ordered the deployment of Otuomagie to the State Ministry of Information for other assignment as many be defended by the State government”, the statement said.
The statement reads, “The Edo State government wishes to inform the general public that His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo, the Executive Governor of Edo State, has approved the termination of the appointment of Ms Tinyan Otuamagie as the Managing Director/CEO, New Edo Line Transport Services Limited, with immediate effect”.
She was the Director of social media to a former Edo State Governorship Candidate,
Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu who is a Chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
