Two feared dead as car crashes into stationary truck on Benin-Ehor Road

A driver and a commuter died when an Audi car crashed into a stationary truck on Benin-Ehor bye pass in Uhunmwode Local government Area of Edo State.

The tragedy occurred near a popular Bottling company on Tuesday morning, according to one of the survivors of the car where the two casualties were recorded.

One of the survivors who gave his name as Otshare confirmed the incident to TheNewspad.

He said three persons were injured, while the driver of the can another passenger who boarded the same car with him from Benin to Ekpoma, lost their lives on the crash.

According to him, “The accident happened on Benin-Ehor bye pass, near a popular Bottling company on Tuesday morning. Go saved my life.

“The driver of the Audi car and one of the passengers in the car died when the car run into a stationary truck that was parked beside the road”, he said.

TheNewspad reports that others that were injured in the crash had been taken to undisclosed hospital for urgent medical attention.
