Two workers in Oredo Local government Council have been feared killed in a road crash, 72 hours after two other staff exit.
It was learnt that a hit-and-run vehicle rammed over the workers during a field work in the Council area on Monday afternoon.
An official in the Council, identified gave victim’s name as Tina, but declined comments on the other male victim involved the crash.
It was learnt that Tina was due to attend her in-law’s funeral before the accident occurred.
Another staff of the Council simply identified as Mrs Iluobe, had also lost her life battle last week Friday November 10, 2023.
The following day, another staff of the Council identified as Mr Tony lost his life after taking a liquor suspected to have been poisoned.
Mortified Council workers could not hold back their tears over the loss, while seeking improve welfare package for them and a better working environment.
