Call him how and what you like. Call him Voltage of hype as in same Cities in the United Kingdom, the hypeman, and you are correct. Martins Gideon Aturuemu will answer you. Being sometimes special to many people having performed worldwide, that means the Voltage of hype is a global brand, as he easily reels off his itenary in Europe from July 2025 through August 2025, Paris, 19th July 2025, Scotland on the 26th, Sheffield on the 1st of August, Birmingham on the 2nd of August and ending in Italy on the 5th of August 2025.
He is excited that his recent European tour, where he performed to a pack audience, which included Scotland and Sheffield for the first time, aside the European Cities where he has been to before.
Aturuemu felt to enthused as the tour moved from location to location without any hitches.
Asked if there are differences in between Nigerian City tours and European City tours he is quick point out that what is really different is location and Cities. Aside that, it is about the same music and vibes.
However, what stands out is the financial outlay. It is more expensive to put up shows in Nigeria is more expensive than in Europe. Reason, “you have to pay for security, bodyguards, soldiers, and police operatives, which never arises in Europe as people are orderly and stuck to time of arrivals and length of show.
Unlike in Nigeria where shows are measured in Africa time. The voltage of did private laughter in talking where shows are funnier and are more pleasant.
From his Europe tour experience, he says, “Europeans are easier to please, laugh more easily and are easier to please.
Something to note in planning European tours is that unlike in Nigeria, where everybody is at ease, Europeans fix shows more at weekends and preferably around month ends and beginning of a new month. And this is not hard to decipher. It is at such times that pay checks have been collected and paying for shows are easier.
Aturuemu advised that “hosting entertainment in Europe, you have to plan your events in a way that suits the people, and time of the week”.
He added, “unlike in Nigeria where you can host events anytime you wish and have attendees present.
What about about shoes and take home pay?
This is where he gets more interesting ‘breakthroughs”, Hypeman Aturuemu said hyping is different outside Nigeria”.
The reason for the difference is that the taxman is waiting at the door at the end of the show. Taxes are utilized to provide and maintain essential services in Europe and other developed societies. But, this is not exactly the case in Nigeria”, he said.

Aturuemu knows it deep down as he has had first hand experience in such incidents and scenes. In a sympathetic tone, he acknowledges that insecurity remains a major challenge in event planning and management in Nigeria.
He therefore cautions that “before you you host any event, you have to consider the safety of your audience, and as a talent, you have to consider your own safety, as well as if reliving his European tour experience”.
While in the UK, I moved freely like other people. No escort, soldiers or police. You can be in the UK for about aa month or more, and you are not likely to see a policeman except at a crime scene, at the security borders or at toll gates.
It is a far cry. And he lays for a time where in most parts of Nigeria, people are enlightened and nobody is scared of insecurity unlike in Nigeria, he added.
