President Bola Tinubu has described the Minister of Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Mr Nyesom Wike as one of the best appointees in the one year old Federal Executive Council (FEC).
This is contained in the President’s goodwill delivered by Vice President Kashim Shettima during the inauguration of inner Southern Expressway to the Southern Parkway in FCT on Wednesday.
While commending Wike for supporting his renewed hope Agenda, Tinubu noted Wike remains undaunted in the face of challenges.
“Wike is a force of human nature. Nothing shakes him. You can’t ignore him. Wike is one of the best appointments mad by the current dispensation.
“We have to commend Mr President for appointing this man that is worthy of emulation, according to him”, he said.
Continuing, President Tinubu commended Wike for been exemplary in his conduct, assuring that the road project is another milestone.
He appreciated the FCT administration and stakeholders for keeping faith in the government.
Earlier, the Minister stated that change the landscape of FCT administration.
He revealed that the
inner Southern Expressway to the Southern Parkway was awarded in 2010 at the cost of N17 billion.
The project, according to the Minister, was reviewed to N18 billion in 2023, with full payment made to the contractor.
