Tinubu appoints Gbajabiamila chief of staff, Akume SGF

Nigeria’s President, Bola Tinubu has appointed Femi Gbajabiamila and George Akume as his Chief of Staff and Secretary to the government of the federation.

The Director, Information, State’s House, Abuja in a statement on Friday, said Tinubu also appointed Sen. Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia as deputy Chief of Staff to President.

Akume who hails from Benue State, was the minister of Special Duties in former President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, while Gbajabiamila who hails from Lagos State, is the Speaker of 9th House of Representatives, while Hadejia, a former Deputy Governor of Jigawa State.

TheNewspad reports that the President announced their appointments during a meeting with the Progressives Governors Forum (PGF) in Abuja.

The development has laid to rest speculations that have trailed the choice of Gbajabiamila and Akume.
